Infront President and CEO & President and Vice-Chairman Wanda Sports Group
Philippe Blatter, a Swiss national, has held the position of President & CEO of Infront since 2005. The leading global sports marketing and media company aims to unite people in sport with emotions, dreams and passion. It accomplishes this by delivering 4,100 event days per year in 25 sports for 180 rights holders with a 1,000-strong team in 39 offices in 14 countries around the world.
In 2015, Chinese conglomerate Wanda Group acquired Infront and appointed Blatter to lead as President & Vice-Chairman Wanda Sports Group, consisting of Infront, the iconic triathlon brand IRONMAN and Wanda Sports China.
Before joining Infront in 2005, Blatter spent 10 years as partner at McKinsey & Company. He also served as a board member of the non-profit organisation Right To Play Switzerland for more than 10 years.
Blatter holds a Master of Science degree from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH) and an MBA degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, USA.
He is married, has twin boys and is a passionate triathlete having finished 17 full IRONMAN races to date.
